The Scam Spotter YouTube campaign needed to hit several key educational points in a span of only six seconds. Look up a few six-second videos — they’re over in a flash! We also needed to make the content broadly relatable, in order to reach a general audience and help educate as many people as possible.

Our Approach & Solution

We held a number of strategy discussions to distill our clients’ top educational priorities to anchor the six-second videos, settling on a campaign urging viewers to pause and never share any personal information with strangers online. In collaboration with the video production company Novus Select, we led aesthetic explorations to bring the message to life through sound and motion, identifying a musical theme and illustration style that would alert viewers to threats in a style that was friendly yet effective.

Impact & Results

The campaign was distributed widely on YouTube and garnered 289 million views globally, helping users navigate the internet with more confidence.
